"Creating a Kinder World Through Art" Four GHS students completed portraits for the Memory Project, a non-profit organization based out of Wisconsin. This year, our students drew children from Syria. To participate in the Memory Project, artists and art students are sent real photographs of children from orphanages, refugee camps and other disadvantaged situations from specific countries. These portraits are created and then hand-delivered when finished, connecting and inspiring youth around the world. Sofie Irwin, Olivia Gadient, Aubrey Christianson, and Mackenzie Lodermeier hold their finished portraits of children from Syria for the Memory Project.
